PSI receives three orders from SSAB Group
PSI has been contracted by the Swedish SSAB Group with the delivery of a logistics management system for the new warehouse at Oxelösund in Sweden as well as two manufacturing execution systems for the sites Kunshan in China and Mobile in the USA.
With SSAB, PSI has won a global leader in value added, high strength steel as a new customer and received orders for three locations within a short time.
At the Oxelösund site in Sweden SSAB is erecting a new warehouse for semi finished plates in which PSImetals will serve as the logistics management system. In the new cutting and painting facility for heavy plates at the Kunshan site in China PSImetals will be used as the MES solution for the new production lines and new storage areas.
For the heavy plate production at the site in Mobile in the USA, PSImetals will also be used as the global MES solution with a functional coverage of planning, control and logistics for the overall mill. With the orders from the important new customer SSAB, PSI is expanding its leading position in the international steel market.
