PSI receives new order from Vallourec

PSI has been commissioned by Vallourec, a premium tubular solutions provider, to deliver PSImetals as the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the new small diameter rolling mill at the Youngstown plant in Ohio, USA.

Vallourec is already successfully using PSImetals at plants in Europe, South America and, with the new project, also in North America in the future. At the Youngstown plant, Vallourec is building a new state of the art small diameter rolling mill to support the anticipated increase in demand for seamless tubes that is associated with the expansion of the natural gas market in the USA.
