PSI Presents New Control Solutions for Public Transportation at the InnoTrans in Berlin

Berlin, 30 August 2010 – The PSI subsidiary PSI Transcom GmbH, one of the leading providers of Automatic Vehicle Management Systems (AVMS) for public transportation, will be presenting solutions for the infrastructural concerns of transportation companies from 21 to 24 September 2010 at the InnoTrans in Berlin (booth 225, hall 2.1).

Economic aspects and optimisation of processes for the use of vehicles are the focus of all system solutions from PSI Transcom. Processes are planned and monitored from the workshop area to the supply and vehicle disposition. The solutions allow for an efficient use of the resources available, revealing additional savings potentials and strengthening the medium- and long-term competitive position of the transportation companies.

Along with the multi-client capable AVMS with real-time passenger information, monitoring of infrastructure components and the proven solution for depot management, at this year’s InnoTrans PSI Transcom will be presenting the PSIpenta maintenance ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) with PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH. Amongst others, this solution covers the maintenance needs in the area of workshop management. PSI Transcom extends its current product range with PSIpenta maintenance by a central element and supports transportation companies in the optimization of the timing of their operational processes and makes a significant contribution to the minimization of downtime.
